Getting started

Onboarding turns a domain into a tracked brand. We crawl the site, work out what you actually sell, generate a starter prompt set, and test it against six AI platforms — usually in under two minutes, before you create an account.

How it works

  1. 1

    Enter your domain

Type your domain (for example yourbrand.com) on the onboarding screen. You don't need an account yet — the first analysis runs before signup so you can see the result before committing.

  2. 2

    Review the classification and aliases

We crawl the site and classify your brand, industry, and aliases. Check the aliases carefully: one that is too short or too generic will match unrelated businesses and inflate your visibility score. Edit or block anything that isn't distinctly yours.

  3. 3

    Test the generated prompts

LupaxAI writes a starter prompt set across five intents — discovery, comparison, reputation, product, and recommendation. Press TEST ALL to run them against ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and Google AI Overviews.

  4. 4

    Read the first result

Every prompt × platform pair is one cell. The visibility score is the share of answered cells that mention your brand. The competitor leaderboard below shows which brands the models named instead of you.

  5. 5

    Save to the dashboard

SAVE & GO TO DASHBOARD creates the brand and keeps the prompts for ongoing tracking. From that point runs can happen automatically on the days you choose for the brand.

Common problems

The failure modes we actually see, what causes them, and the fix.

The classification describes the wrong business

Cause
Your homepage is mostly images, rendered by JavaScript, or sits behind a consent wall, so the crawler saw very little text. We fall back to web-grounded search, which can pick up an older or similarly named company.
Fix
You'll see a “Classified via web research” or “Naming mismatch” notice when this happens. Correct the brand details before saving, and run the GEO audit to find what is blocking the crawler.

An alias is marked Blocked

Cause
Alias safety flags tokens that are too short or too generic to be distinctive — they would match businesses that have nothing to do with you and quietly inflate your score.
Fix
Edit it into something unambiguous, or choose “Use anyway” if you're certain. Unresolved aliases are not tracked and are left out of your results.

Some cells show “Request failed” or “No response”

Cause
A provider timed out or rate-limited that request. It happens most often when all six platforms are hit at once.
Fix
Failed cells are excluded from the denominator, so they don't drag your score down. Re-run the prompt. If the same platform keeps failing across runs, email support.

Saving fails or shows an upgrade prompt

Cause
Your plan caps the number of brands and prompts per brand. New accounts stay on the Free tier until a checkout completes in Stripe.
Fix
The paywall names the limit you hit. Archive an existing brand or prompt, or upgrade — every paid plan starts with a 3-day free trial.

Still stuck?

If none of the above matches what you're seeing, email us with your brand name and roughly when it happened — we can read the job logs on our side.
