Billing & plans
Subscriptions run through Stripe. New accounts sit on the Free tier until a checkout completes; paid plans start with a 3-day trial and can be changed or cancelled at any time.
How it works
- 1
Check what you're actually on
Billing & plan shows your current plan and cycle. If it says you haven't paid for a subscription yet, you're on the Free tier regardless of what you picked earlier — the plan changes only once Stripe confirms the payment.
- 2
Upgrade
Choose monthly or yearly, then Upgrade. You're handed to Stripe Checkout, and when you return the plan updates as soon as Stripe confirms — usually seconds, occasionally a little longer.
- 3
Manage the subscription
“Manage subscription & invoices” opens the Stripe billing portal, where you change the card, download invoices, or cancel. Cancelling stops renewal and keeps your access until the end of the paid period.
- 4
Know your limits
Plans cap the number of brands, prompts per brand, and prompt runs per month. The run counter resets at the start of each calendar month.
Common problems
The failure modes we actually see, what causes them, and the fix.
I paid but still see the Free plan
- Cause
- Stripe's confirmation webhook hadn't arrived when the page rendered.
- Fix
- Reload after a few seconds. If it persists beyond a minute, send us the Stripe receipt and we'll reconcile the subscription by hand.
“Only the account owner or an admin can change the subscription”
- Cause
- Your role on the account is member, and billing is restricted to owners and admins.
- Fix
- Ask the account owner to make the change, or to raise your role in brand settings.
Yearly billing isn't available for this plan
- Cause
- The annual Stripe price isn't configured for that plan yet.
- Fix
- Switch to monthly to continue. If you specifically need annual billing or an invoice, contact sales and we'll set it up.
A payment-failed banner appears
- Cause
- Stripe couldn't charge the card — expiry, insufficient limit, or a bank refusal.
- Fix
- Update the payment method in the billing portal. Paid features keep working through a short grace period before access is suspended.
“You've reached your monthly run limit”
- Cause
- The account has used every prompt run included in the plan for this calendar month.
- Fix
- The counter resets at the start of next month. Upgrade if you need the capacity straight away.
